| Davin, Mommy & Wizard |
As a working mom, it's quite difficult to find some time off from work and house chores to go out into the sun and have fun all day. I am just glad that me and my husband were able to work out our schedule to have this day out with our son, Davin. It's not all the time that we are able to go out, just the three of us so despite the constantly changing weather and the the cold front that week, we still went ahead to Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna to have a day-long vacation.
Although, to me, Enchanted Kingdom didn't change a lot since the last time I went there (uhhmm, I don't really remember when was that exactly but as far as I can recall that would be 3 or 4 years ago), there are a few additions to the adult rides but are exclusive of the day tour ticket. How come? I really don't know and we didn't bother asking. We didn't even think of trying out the adult rides, at least not for me. What mattered was Davin would get to enjoy himself as it was his first time in a big amusement park!

| Daddy & Davin |
As usual, the park assistants took the necessary precautions before they let us in. They took Davin's height measurement and gave us the list of rides that a 36 - inch kid can enjoy. He didn't get to pay anything on the day pass as his height is still within the range that they let in for free (imagine Mommy with the thought bubble "Buti na lang! Libre pa si Baby").
Of course, he was allowed to ride everything in Boulderville, he was also allowed the Up Up and Away in Midway Boardwalk, the Grand Carousel in Victoria Park and the Swan Lake in the Jungle Outpost. We went to Boulderville Express and Bumbling Boulder first but he didn't seem to like it so we went to
Up Up And Away for his first ride.
Davin loves to feel the wind on his face and he enjoys being thrown up and down. That's how he plays with this Dad so I don't really wonder at all why he is so thrilled with riding a big balloon while it's being swung into mid air. The next ride was Dinosaurs. I guess he enjoyed this the most as he could also drive the Dino up and down with a built-in joystick. He also had pretty much realized that everybody in the park were laughing boisterously and screaming in enjoyment so he did the same as the red Dino lifted and started to swing around fast. At the same time, he pulling the joystick up and down to make the Dino go up and down as well.
His next ride was Flintstones and although it was not that evident, he was smiling a little bit while perhaps thinking of how fun it is riding in a giant yellow egg!
It was a super fun day for the three of us. The D-Day started with a threat of bad weather coming but it ended with a whole new experience for Davin to remember as a child.
